BLNG participates in Shell JV Career Roadshow at ITB
The Business Partner team HCP together with their counterparts in BSP participated in the Shell JV Careeer Roadshow at ITB. The event was held for two days from 20th January. The roadshow is aimed at those students graduated with HND and first degrees. In attendance to launch the roadshow was the Deputy Permanent Secretary at the Ministry of Industry and Primary Resources, Mohd Riza Dato Hj Yunos.

E-Government National Centre makes an HSE visit to BLNG Plant
On 19th January, 10 HSE members from the E-Government National Centre made a working visit to Brunei LNG . The visit aimed at learning on the preparation, implementation and monitoring of HSE procedure available at Brunei LNG. Presentation was delivered by Pg Noralim Pg Ahmad, Special Adviser Health Safety Environmental and Quality (HSEQ). The team was also welcomed by the MD/CEO H Salleh Bostaman BH Zainal Abidin.

CSPS - Alternative Energy Consultant pays a working visit
On 13th January, a total of 9 CSPS members from the Alternative Energy Consultant came to Brunei LNG for a familiarisation visit . Upon arrival at the plant, they were welcomed by the MD/CEO H Salleh Bostaman BH Zainal Abidin who later. The members were then entertained with a lunch session at Brunei LNG.

JBCE Visits BLNG Plant
On 12th January, Brunei LNG received visitors from Jefri Bolkiah College of Engineering students studying Plant Engineering. The visit is part of the students activity during their technical training at JBCE, in which they could learn and see in reality the availability of jobs relevant to their courses. At the plant they were given a briefing on general overview of Brunei LNG by External Affairs Adviser Mohammad Sofian Kipli (HCE/1) and followed by a presentation on Engineering Maintenance by Senior Area Engineer, Mohd Erwandee Radzuan (EME/1). They were also given an opportunity to visit the workshop in the plant.

Gathering for Staff and Contractors
2010, 31st December, a gathering to mark the end of 2010 was held at the plant. This annual event was attended by more than 1000 staff and contractors. The gathering was aimed at giving appreciation to all staff and contractors for the safe operations throughout 2010. A blessing prayer was also held to mark this event. Also witnessed was the handover of best safety PAKAT for the year.

BLNG & Refinery Orphans Receive Donations
2010, 17th December, a total of 14 orphans of BLNG and Refinery received donations from BLNG. Present to handover the donations was Awang Musa Sulaiman (EME/6) , a long service employees. The event took place at LLRC was also attended by BLNG MD/CEO and Corporate Affairs Manager. The event is an annual activity organised by BPPI aimed at giving support to the orphans for their new school year term 2011.
